SURV 1550 - Introduction to Surveying(3 credits) Prerequisites: Two years of high school algebra, one year of plane geometry and trigonometry, or or higher, or permission of instructor.
Provides an overall introduction to the surveying profession. Basic measurement theories are addressed. Practice operating basic surveying tools to collect data, calculate the results and prepare a simple map showing the results is provided. This course is not available for distance learning students.
