NRSE 3525 - Health Promotion and Research

(3 credits)

Prerequisites: Completion of second semester sophomore courses, or admission to RN to BSN program, or successful completion of all first semester LPN-BSN courses.

Focuses on health promotion across the lifespan. Emphasis is on the principles of health teaching for individuals and communities. Local, national and global health trends are examined. The principles and application of evidence-based research and health promotion are introduced.
