DIGM 4844 - Effects Animation

Prerequisites: DIGM 2870, DIGM 2990.

Explores project-based dynamic simulation and animation strategies to digitally recreate natural phenomena, including rigid dynamics, particle simulation, effects compositing, and rendering. Additional topics might include techniques involving instancing, fluid dynamics, cloth simulation, and dynamic constraints.

Notes: May be repeated for credit up to 12 hours.
