NRSE 3901 - Care of Childbearing Families, Children, and Persons with Mental Illness Practicum

Prerequisites: NRSE 3510 and NRSE 3350.

Corequisites: NRSE 3900.

Provides clinical experience for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) transitioning to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) role in the areas of the childbearing family, including the reproductive health of adolescents and adults, including principles needed to provide therapeutic nursing care of the infant through adolescent. This clinical also encompasses clinical care emphasizing the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of mental health across the lifespan.
