MGMT 3100 - Production/Operations Management

Prerequisites: C or better in MGMT 3000.

Introduces operating systems and operations management and control techniques in both the manufacturing and service sectors. It emphasizes the critical nature of operations within the overall business structure, and the need to make strategic and tactically sound operations decisions. Topics include product and service design, process planning, operations technology, inventory management and logistics planning, and quality management and control systems.
