GEOS 2490 - Field Methods in Geospatial Technology(4 credits) Prerequisites: GEOS 1500 , or permission of instructor.
Covers both traditional and new methods for collecting data in the field in a variety of urban and natural environments including planning field expeditions, making measurements and assessments in the field, and producing maps and other geospatial products to communicate results. This course also includes concepts of experimental design, sampling strategies, data analysis, interpretation, and geovisualization.
