HIST 3915 - American Religious History

Prerequisites: HIST 2010, HIST 2020, RELI 2210, or permission of instructor.

Surveys the history of religions in America, with emphasis on the diversity of American religious experiences. Topics will include historiographic issues regarding the study of religions in America, with particular attention to the relationships among religion and gender, race, ethnicity, politics, economics, and culture.
