NRSE 4621 - Professional Practice Practicum(4 credits) Prerequisites: Successful completion of all previous nursing courses required for final semester in nursing program.
Corequisites: NRSE 4610 , NRSE 4611 , and NRSE 4620 (in the pre-licensure nursing program) or NRSE 4612 , NRSE 4613 , and NRSE 4620 (in the LPN to BSN program).
Provides a capstone clinical experience focused on the preparation for transition to professional nursing practice, leadership and management of care for individuals/groups of clients in a variety of health care settings. Emphasis is placed on applying the concepts of patient-centered care, information management, professionalism, interprofessional collaboration, ethical decision making, quality/safety, and lifelong learning.
