RHSC 3000 - Introduction to the Rehabilitative Professions

(3 credits)

Provides an introduction to the different disciplines of rehabilitation sciences with an emphasis on audiology, speech-language pathology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician assistant and their contributions to improving health and health care. The International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF) model developed by the World Health Organization (WHO) is introduced as an underlying tool for developing questions that span the branches of translational health science.
