RHSC 4500 - Psychosocial Aspects of Rehabilitative Sciences(3 credits) Addresses the effects of chronic illness and disability on individuals and families, with regard to physical, psychological, social, and work function as well as the extent to which individuals with disabilities are able to participate at home or in work environments. Chronic health conditions include but are not be limited to neurodegenerative and neuromuscular conditions, conditions of the musculoskeletal system, cognitive and developmental disabilities, and nervous system disorders secondary to trauma and stroke.
