(3 credits)This course provides students with the advanced social work practice knowledge and skills for ecological and clinical assessments and intervention and theoretical constructs for working with families. The importance of the therapeutic relationship will be emphasized throughout the course. The impact of diversity (culture, race, ethnicity, gender, age, disabilities, sexual orientation, etc.) on the development and application of theory is woven throughout the course.
