RHSC 5803 - Management of Musculoskeletal, Vascular and Endocrine Conditions in Orthotics and Prosthetics

Examines orthotic and prosthetic treatment and management of common musculoskeletal, vascular and endocrine conditions and disorders. The course focuses on signs, symptoms, sensory, motor, vascular, structural impairment, prognosis, medical, surgical and orthotic/prosthetic management of common disorders such as: fractures, developmental disorders of the extremities and spine, metabolic disorders of the skeletal system, arterial and venous diseases, inherited disorders and infections of the skeletal and vascular systems, and diabetes mellitus.
