BIOL 3100 - General Genetics(3 credits) Prerequisites: BIOL 1110 or BIOL 1111
Studies mechanisms of genetic transmission involving the chromosome theory of inheritance, linkage, recombination and mapping, chromosomal modifications and evolution, the organization of the hereditary material and the nature of gene action, mutation, population genetics, and statistical analysis. Three (3) hour lecture. (See optional BIOL 3141 )
