ENTC 4600 - Technical Practicum

(4 credits)


Prerequisites: By permit only issued to students who meet the following: Senior standing, ENTC 3030 , and at least 24 credits in a technology concentration.

Please Note:  The following prerequisite requirements ONLY APPLY to Construction Engineering Technology (CET) students wishing to enroll in ENTC - 4600 Technical Practicum:  ENTC 2160  OR ENTC 2170 , ENTC 3430  OR ENTC 4440 , SURV 2530 , and ALL of the following ENTC courses; ENTC 2060 , ENTC 2410 , ENTC 2420 , ENTC 2440 , ENTC 3010 , ENTC 3020 , ENTC 3030 , ENTC 3400 , ENTC 3410 , and ENTC 3650 

Provides senior-level capstone course in advanced problem solving by organized team methods. Requires synthesis and application of  subject matter in previous required courses. For example, drawing upon previous knowledge of product design and manufacturing methods to solve a complex problem. Units of instruction include project planning (GANTT and PERT), human factors, design aesthetics, systems methods, and group dynamics. Lecture and lab.
