SURV 3550 - Advanced Surveying Mathematics(3 credits) Prerequisites: SURV 3530 and MATH 1910 .
Presents mathematical methods used in surveying sciences, weights of observations, precision of indirectly determined quantities, error ellipses, 2D and 3D coordinate transformations, least squares adjustments of survey data with applications to observed data with redundant measurements, computer programming of survey adjustments.
