SURV 3525 - Introduction to Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)

(3 credits)
Provides foundational coverage of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) relevant to the practice of land surveying and mapping. The topics may include theory, field data acquisition, and applications of UAS to produce planimetric and 3D models of the terrain. The course also covers FAA regulations and public policies on UAS flight.
