(3 credits)Prerequisites:ARTA 1140. An introduction to sculptural techniques and concepts, including figure study, abstraction, work with clay, wood, plaster, mixed media, and site specific sculpture. Slide lectures covering historical and contemporary approaches to sculpture will be an ongoing component.
