ARTA 2916 - BFA Portfolio Review

Prerequisites: Completion of 35 credit hours in art.

Spring 2012: prerequisite will be completion of 21 credit hours of studio art. Students pursuing the BFA degree (Bachelor of Fine Arts) must complete a portfolio review prior to acceptance in the BFA program and completion of the degree requirements. Review of portfolio work will be completed by a committee of faculty members from within the department. Date and time for the individual review will be announced each semester. Students must complete the review after accumulating 36 art credits and before accumulating 45 art credits.

Beginning in Spring 2012; Students pursuing the BFA degree (Bachelor of Fine Arts) must complete the portfolio review prior to acceptance in the BFA program. Students must receive the grade of Satisfactory within two attempts in order to change to the BFA track. A committee, composed of Art and Design faculty members, conducts the reviews. Date and time for reviews are announced each semester..
