NRSE 3090 - Care of Persons with Psychiatric Disorders
(3 credits)Prerequisites: Completion of first semester, Junior courses. Corequistes:NRSE 3091. Course content focuses on the psychiatric-mental health care of persons across the lifespan as clients within the family and as members of the community. Emphasis is placed on effective communication, assessment and analysis, planning or nursing strategies, nursing diagnoses, and evaluating outcomes in this client population. (fall, spring)
