PMSC 3233 - Biopharmaceuticals and Biological Products

This course has two components with associated goals: 1. Biopharmaceutics: to teach key physiological and physiochemical factors affecting the bioavailability of drugs, especially small molecules; 2. Biological products: to introduce the biology behind production use of large molecule biologic drugs (e.g., monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, hormones, gene-based therapies etc.) That you will encounter in your practice.
