METC 2216 - Electrical Engineering Principles 1(3 credits) Prerequisites: METC 1140 , PHYS 2110 , and MATH 1910
Provides initial mathematical, laboratory and simulation methods for circuit analysis. This course provides an introduction to AC/DC Circuit analysis; and models of many circuits from first principles, including RLC, Diode, Transistor and Op-amp models. In addition, the course introduces analytical techniques such as loop, nodal, mesh, frequency, and Fourier analysis with a focus on application.This course integrates extensive use of computer models via computer simulation tools.
