NRSE 3041 - Community, Population, and Global Health Nursing Practicum(2 credits) Prerequisites: Completion of first semester as a fully enrolled traditional/continuous enrollment/LPN to BSN student.
Corequisites: NRSE 3040
Provides supervised experiential learning in community, population, and global health nursing. The course includes engaging directly with communities and population-based health settings (e.g. public health departments, community clinics, schools, nonprofit agencies, global health initiatives), applying assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and advocacy skills in real-world contexts. Reflection, mentorship, and integration of theory and practice are emphasized.
