ACCT 5210 - Controllership and Financial Leadership(3 credits) Prerequisites: ACCT 3110 Management Accounting, or equivalent.
Explores the controllership functions that integrates financial and managerial accounting, corporate finance, internal controls, contribution margin analysis, and flexible budgeting. The course emphasizes real‑world application and the development of emotional intelligence, promotability, and leadership effectiveness. A defining feature is its series of round‑table sessions with CEOs, CFOs, CAOs, directors, and controllers who engage directly with students on contemporary financial and leadership challenges.
