Prerequisites: ECON 2220 or prior approval needed. An overview of the economics of the health care industry. Topics include the production and pricing of health, the demand and supply of medical care and health insurance, the markets for physician and hospital services, health manpower, medical education, and the role of government and legislation in health care.
