SURV 2560 - Surveying Graphics

(4 credits; 3 credits beginning Spring 2013)

Prerequisites: SURV 1550 or permission of instructor. Lettering; basic concept of scale; various text fonts, sizes and styles; various line weights and styles; creating and inserting a title block; creating different layers; basic techniques of editing and plotting maps; proper dimensions on maps; basic concept and techniques of contours; basic concept and techniques of profile and cross-section, drawing a map with external data import; elements of maps; basic information to include on maps.
