SURV 3560 - Geodetic Science

(4 credits; 3 credits beginning Spring 2013)

Prerequisites: MATH 1910, SURV 2520,and SURV 3510, or permission of instructor. Application of spherical trigonometry to earth measurements, datum, map projection, coordinate system, use of geodetic control, geodetic leveling and traverse, astronomic observations for precise azimuth, latitude, and longitude, crustal movements, and basic satellite surveying.
