The Nursing Informatics Certificate Program provides a formal program of study for master’s-prepared nurses in nursing informatics. The Certificate Program provides an individualized experience through which students gain a strong foundation in healthcare informatics and prepares the nurse for the certification examination in healthcare informatics. The formal program of study is designed to meet the need for students who already have the Master of Science in Nursing degree without requiring them to complete a second master’s degree. Priority will be given to those applications received by the deadlines. Applications will continue to be received until the cohort is filled. Application deadlines are as follows: fall semester deadline is February 1; spring semester deadline is July 1; summer semester deadline is December 1.
