The Allied Health minor seeks to provide students with a variety of interprofessional allied health courses that include leadership, management, research, information technology, and cultural diversity to prepare students to work more effectively in health care settings. The Allied Health minor complements the content in the fields of cardiopulmonary science, dental hygiene, radiologic science, and other related professions. The minor is framed around 12 credits of core courses and 6 credits of advisor approved electives. Only 3 credits can be used to count for both the major and minor. The Allied Health minor can be completed entirely online.
Allied Health Minor Requirements: 18 credits
A minor is a secondary area of study outside of the major program of study with a structured curriculum composed of at least 18 credits of which at least 9 credits must be at the 3000-level or above.
Required Courses: 12 credits
Advisor Approved Electives: 6 credits
