The Health Care Genetics and Genomics post-baccalaureate certificate program is offered to nurses and other healthcare professionals. This certificate program provides knowledge of how the genetic makeup and the environment may contribute to the development of common inherited disorders. This certificate program will prepare the students to utilize knowledge of genetics, genomics, epigenetics, pharmacogenetics, genetic testing, and genetic counseling in their practice.
Admission Policy
Potential applicants must have a baccalaureate degree in nursing or in a health related field from a regionally accredited institution. All potential applicants must meet ETSU School of Graduate Studies admission requirements.
