Web address: www.etsu.edu/coe/serk The Coaching Minor has been designed to enable students to develop competencies necessary to coach in public or private schools or recreational settings. Emphasis is placed on psychology and physiology of sport, care and prevention of athletic injury, and advanced skill in coaching. The Department of Sport, Exercise, Recreation, & Kinesiology also offers minors in Park and Recreation, Sport Management, Coaching, and Physical Education. Coaching Minor Requirements: 18 credits
Required Courses: 15 credits
Advisor Approved Electives: 3 credits
