The Global Health and Development minor seeks to provide students with an interprofessional curriculum focused on global issues and to prepare students to work more effectively in global settings. The minor is framed around students completing 13 credits of core courses and 9 credits of advisor approved elective courses. Students will complete elective courses in one topic area of global health and development (education, health, environment, agriculture, youth development, or community economic development).

Global Health and Development Minor: 22 credits

Advisor Approved Electives: 9 credits

Choose 9 credits from one topic area. At least 3 credits must be at the 3000-4000 level. Students may substitute 3 credits with other relevant courses or a study abroad course with advisor approval.

Minor Requirement

A minor is a secondary area of study outside of the major program of study with a structured curriculum composed of at least 18 credits of which at least 9 credits must be at the 3000-level or above.
