The Healthcare Foundations minor seeks to provide students pursuing healthcare and related fields with foundational knowledge related to these professions.  The minor includes a core of allied health and science courses, and allows students to choose from a menu of elective classes in order to tailor their learning to their interests and future career.  The minor complements the program of study for students seeking entry into Dental Hygiene, Nursing, Radiologic Science, Respiratory Therapy, and other health-related majors.  Additionally, the minor may be a valuable addition for students in related fields who will work closely with healthcare professionals, such as Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, and Rehabilitative Health Sciences.
