Geography Minor

General Program Information

A minor in geography consists of a minimum of 20 credit hours of study (nine of which must be upper division courses). Lower-division course requirements include: GEOG 1110  or GEOG 1120  and GEOG 1012  or GEOG 1013 . Consult with departmental advisor.

Geography Minor: 20 Credit Hours

• GEOG 1110 - Earth Science: Weather and Climate (4 credits) or
• GEOG 1120 - Earth Science: Landforms and Processes (4 credits)

• GEOG 1012 - Introduction to Cultural Geography (3 credits) or
• GEOG 1013 - Introduction to World Regional Geography (3 credits)
