General Program Information
Students pursuing a minor in Speech must complete 21 credit hours of Speech courses. The minor consists of nine credit hours in core courses and a minimum of 12 more credit hours in Speech to be selected in consultation with a Speech advisor. Core Courses: 21 Credit Hours
Advanced Presentation Elective: 3 Credit Hours
(choose one) Diversity Elective: 3 Credit Hours
(choose one) Speech Electives: 12 Credit Hours **
Note:
* SPCH 3346 Speaking for Social Change will satisfy either the Advanced Presentation Elective or the Diversity Elective, but not both.
** The selected courses may consist of any Speech offerings as long as they do not include SPCH 1300 . A minimum of six of the 12 credit hours must be at the 3000/4000 level. |
