CUAI 4241 - Residency I: Performance Assessment in Clinical Field K-6
(3 credits)Prerequisites: Admission to teacher education is required; MEDA 3570, READ 3100, READ 3200, SPED 2300, EDFN 3310. Corequisites:CUAI 4310, SCED 4321, CUAI 4210, READ 4026. Clinical field experience that accommodates the performance-based requirements for the Interdisciplinary Studies in Education major. Provides opportunities for planning, implementing, and evaluating integrated instruction that is developmentally appropriate for students of varying backgrounds and abilities. Application of educational technology is expected. Evaluation and assessment of teaching skills and practices developed in methods and content courses are emphasized. Evaluation and assessment of teaching effectiveness in relation to improvement of student learning is expected.
