NRSE 4620 - Leadership and Professional Practice

(3 credits)

Prerequisites: Successful completion of all previous nursing courses required prior to final semester in nursing program or admission to RN to BSN program. Corequisites: NRSE 4610, NRSE 4611, and NRSE 4621 in pre-licensure nursing program or admission to RN to BSN program. Capstone didactic nursing course designed to prepare students for transition into professional practice. Focus is on leadership theory and social/legal/ethical/political responsibilities of nursing professionals within the broader context of health care delivery.
