NRSE 4621 - Professional Practice Practicum

(4 credits)

Prerequisites: Successful completion of all previous nursing courses required for final semester in nursing program. Corequisites: NRSE 4610, NRSE 4611, and NRSE 4620 This capstone clinical course is focused on the preparation of the student for transition to professional nursing practice, leadership and management of care for individuals/groups of clients in a variety of health care settings. Emphasis is placed on applying the concepts of patient-centered care, information management, professionalism, interprofessional collaboration, ethical decision making, quality/safety, and lifelong learning.
