Criminal Justice and Criminology Minor: 18 Credit Hours

A minor is a secondary area of study outside of the major program of study with a structured curriculum composed of at least 18 semester credit hours of which at least 9 hours must be at the 3000-level or above.

Students minoring in criminal justice and criminology must complete 18 semester credit hours as follows:

• CJCR 1100 - Introduction to Criminal Justice (3 credits)
• CJCR 2540 - Criminal Law (3 credits)
• CJCR 3310 - Criminology (3 credits)
• Electives in Criminal Justice and Criminology (9 credits) (Six of the 9 hours must be at the 3000 or 4000 level.)
