3 The Practicum is designed for entry level field experience in human services. Placement into a supervised setting with a local human services organization will provide training and experience for eventual professional employment. The purpose of this course is to allow students the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge acquired in an academic setting to a human service organization serving individuals, groups, and/or families.
