(3 credits)Prerequisites: Acceptance in Dental Hygiene curriculum or special departmental approval. An introduction to general and oral pathology focusing on those diseases that most frequently manifest in the oral cavity. Study will include etiology, clinical signs and symptoms, and treatment of diseases known to affect the oral cavity.
