GEOG 5317 - Advanced Geographic Information Systems
(3 credits) A critical examination of the contemporary issues involved with Geographic Information Systems and digital spatial data. One-half of the course content will be dedicated to practical training on the sophisticated vector-based GIS software called Arc/Info. A hands-on understanding of the nature and functionality of this software will be acquired within a workstation computer environment. (spring, even years)
