(4 credits)Prerequisites: Admission to the major or permission of the department chair and NRSE 2310. The health assessment course focuses on the acquisition of strong history-taking and physical examination skills primarily in a laboratory setting, with select community experiences. Special emphasis will be placed on the transcultural considerations involved in health assessment and the physical examination of varied adult populations, as well as select family groups.
