PHIL 3140 - Environmental Philosophy(3 credits) Prerequisites: Two (2) PHIL courses at the 1000 - 2000 level or permission of the instructor. Examines the philosophical issues–ethical, metaphysical and epistemological–involved in contemporary discussions of environmental issues. Widely differing approaches will be considered in order to better understand the conflicting interests and values involved in environmental decision-making. (spring, even years)
