HSMP 6130 - Public Health Leadership, Policy Development, and Ethics(3 credits) This course introduces the conceptual, methodological, and ethical foundations of public health leadership leading to the development and analysis of public health policy at the federal, state, and local levels. An applied systematic approach to the practice of public health policy will be used, focusing on establishing evaluation criteria, identifying policy alternatives, using criteria to analyze alternatives, implementing the proposed policy, and evaluating the outcomes.
