SPED 5610 - Evidence-Based Practices in Response to Intervention: Ensuring Success in the Diverse Classroom
(3 credits)Prepares the teacher candidate to design, implement, and evaluate instructional practices that are identified as evidence-based. With the establishment of the Response to Intervention (RTI) initiative, teachers are now required to implement high-quality, evidence-based instructional practices at all tier levels within the model. Candidates learn to identify, evaluate, and apply selected evidence-based instructional strategies as they apply to diverse student needs.
