NRSE 5100 - Principles of Population Health and Data Analysis for Advanced Nursing Practice(4 credits) Students explore the role of age, gender, race, genetics, lifestyle, and environmental factors in regards to health and outcomes. Rates, prevalence and incidence of disease are examined, and the role of technology in population health will be discussed. Students use evidence based research to identify needs of specific populations, and use best practice guidelines to propose ways to address these needs.
