EPID 6490 - Advanced Research Methods in Public Health(4 credits) Highlighting the overarching concepts and principles of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods, this research methods course is designed for the public health professional. The use of surveillance systems and national surveys to address public health issues is also incorporated. Methods used to investigate health issues at the group, organization, community, and population levels are conveyed through case-studies, applied activities, and discussion of public health milestones and current public health issues.
